OK FIRST LOOK AT HOW CLOSE I WAS TO JOSH TURNER AND HIS MAGICALLY DEEP VOICE! I could see his blue eyes so clearly!
Those pictures are amazing. What a doll! You must have had amazing seats! I completely forgot to mention that I saw Josh in concert too. But he was the opening act so he didn’t sing for very long (and they didn’t let us bring in cameras). So not fair because we had seats pretty comparable to the ones you had.
And yes, I know the 3 films (The Shop Around the Corner, In the Good Old Summertime, & You’ve Got Mail) are all the same story. What I love is that they are each unique but still share the same basic storyline. And I enjoy them all .
I mean the first has Jimmy being sweet and adorable
The second has that turn of century charm and Judy & Van Johnson whom I just adore. Him in particular is one of my favorite actors who never gets the recognition he deserves. He’s so underrated.
And the third has all the wonderful modern humor while still being nostalgic. And Meg &Tom are just the best together.
And so many lines just get me:
"How about dinner or drinks or a movie for as long as we both shall love.
" Don’t cry shop girl"
I love that in each movie the scene where he is supposed to meet her and he has his friend look in the window, the dialogue is almost exactly the same in all 3 movies. It just goes to show you that good stories are timeless.
It just thrills me to pieces to be able to chat with someone who clearly knows her classic movies. You are the best!!

True love isn’t easy, but it must be fought for. Because once you find it, it can never be replaced.
Love all of your answers sweetie. I probably listed way too many favorites myself. I am going to write you a longer message about the rest :)
Thanks! I filled it out and then went back and erased a bunch because I had way too many things listed in the favorites! Haha I just hate neglecting other things I love.
I was going to message you but I there was not enough space to express myself:)
(Most of) Alan Menken’s Disney Movie ScoresHappy birthday Alan Menken! (July 22, 1949)
This little moment is so beautiful. Look at his eyes.
She kisses him and for a brief moment he watches her. He needs that tiny moment more to realise and accept that it’s happening. The women he loves, who he would go to the end of the world and time for, has opened her heart to him. He promised to win her heart without trickery and that’s exactly what he’s done. It’s real, it’s happening and so he closes his eyes and loses himself in the moment.
